Qualifications

Position Overview

The Cloud Administrator is responsible for advanced administration, operational ownership, troubleshooting, and continuous improvement of Krayden's Microsoft cloud and hybrid enterprise environment. This role provides deeper hands-on expertise across Microsoft Azure, Microsoft 365, Microsoft Entra ID, Intune, identity, endpoint, server, networking, and supporting infrastructure technologies.

The position serves as a senior technical resource within the Global Delivery Center, provides escalation support and mentorship to the Junior Cloud Administrator, and works closely with Krayden's senior infrastructure resources to create overlapping coverage and reduce single points of failure across a global environment.

Overall Responsibilities

• Administer, maintain, and continuously improve Microsoft cloud and hybrid infrastructure platforms.
• Provide advanced administration and troubleshooting of Azure, Microsoft 365, Entra ID, Intune, Active Directory, Windows Server, and related technologies.
• Provide Tier III technical escalation and root-cause troubleshooting for Microsoft platform, identity, endpoint, cloud, server, and infrastructure issues.
• Own and support enterprise identity, endpoint, server, virtualization, networking, and collaboration services as part of a cross-trained global infrastructure team.
• Monitor service availability, performance, capacity, and operational health.
• Develop automation, documentation, and standardized processes that improve operational efficiency and service quality.
• Support acquisitions, office expansions, migrations, disaster recovery, and infrastructure modernization activities.
• Provide technical leadership, shared ownership, and global operational coverage across Infrastructure, Security, and Service Delivery.

Core Responsibilities

• Administer and troubleshoot Microsoft Azure resources, cloud infrastructure services, and Azure networking.
• Administer Microsoft Entra ID, including identity lifecycle, authentication, MFA, Conditional Access, and privileged access.
• Administer Microsoft Intune, including enrollment, configuration, compliance, application deployment, endpoint security, and device lifecycle management.
• Administer Microsoft 365 services, including Exchange Online, Teams, SharePoint Online, and OneDrive.
• Administer Active Directory, Group Policy, Windows Server, and hybrid identity services.
• Support virtualization, compute, storage, backup, and server infrastructure.
• Administer and troubleshoot enterprise networking involving DNS, DHCP, TCP/IP, routing, switching, firewalls, VPN, and site connectivity, coordinating escalation when required.
• Develop and improve PowerShell scripts and automation to reduce manual effort and improve consistency.
• Create and maintain technical standards, procedures, runbooks, architecture documentation, and knowledge articles.
• Participate in upgrades, migrations, acquisitions, disaster recovery testing, and technology modernization initiatives.
• Serve as a GDC technical escalation point and provide day-to-day mentoring and knowledge transfer to the Junior Cloud Administrator.
