Optum Philippines seeks a Licensed Clinical Content Specialist to develop and update clinical content for Change Healthcare Clinical Products, applying evidence-based medicine to synthesize literature and ensuring accuracy across diverse users and settings.

The role includes QA of content, serving as a clinical resource for clients, and partnering with Product Development, PM, PO, and BSA to deliver on-time clinical projects aligned with enterprise standards.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent related experience.
• Licensed physician.
• Board-certified or diplomate in Internal Medicine or subspecialties.
• Residency/training time does not qualify.
• 5+ years of hands‑on clinical experience in independent practice or equivalent.
• 5+ years of independent clinical practice and inpatient hospital settings.
• Advanced degree is preferred.
• Experience in utilization management, case management, or managed care.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and update clinical content through appraisal and synthesis of medical literature.
• Perform QA of clinical content and maintain clinical documentation.
• Serve as a clinical resource for internal and external customers.
• Collaborate with Product Development (PD), Product Management (PM), Product Owner (PO), and Business Systems Analyst (BSA).
• Participate in developing project plans and ensure on-time delivery of clinical development projects.
• Participate in field research contributing to product advancement as needed.
• Guide development and enhancements to improve end-to-end clinical processes and systems decisions across the enterprise.
• Comply with employment contracts and company policies and directives.
