Job summary

Optum is a global health services company seeking a Licensed Clinical Content Specialist to develop and update clinical information for Change Healthcare Clinical Products. The role requires evidence-based medicine, external peer-review collaboration, and QA of content.

You will work with PD/PM/PO/BSA to ensure accuracy and usability across users and contexts. Ideal candidates hold an MD, board certification in Internal Medicine or subspecialties, and 5+ years of independent clinical experience

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent related experience.
• Licensed physician.
• Board-certified in Internal Medicine or subspecialties.
• Residency or training time does not count toward qualification.
• 5+ years of hands-on clinical experience in independent practice or equivalent.
• 5+ years of experience in independent clinical practice and inpatient hospital settings.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and update clinical content using evidence from medical literature.
• Perform QA of clinical content and maintain clinical documentation.
• Serve as a clinical resource for internal and external customers.
• Collaborate with Product Development, Product Management and other stakeholders.
• Participate in project planning and ensure on-time delivery of clinical development projects.
• Contribute to field research for product advancement as needed.
• Provide liaison for clinically related solutions involving technology across the enterprise.
