Job summary

CACEIS Malaysia is seeking a Client Operations Officer to maintain static data in MDC and GP and support global servicing. You will work under the Static Data team and contribute to accurate data updates across processing systems.

Reporting to the Manager, you will handle market data validation, corporate actions, and inquiries, with a focus on quality and timely delivery in a global asset servicing environment.

Qualifications

• Background in Investment Management, Business Administration or Actuarial Science.
• Knowledge of Bloomberg or similar data providers is advantageous.
• 0-2 years of banking operations experience with static data knowledge.

Responsibilities

• Control and validate market data from providers (Bloomberg, Reuters, etc.).
• Analyze and execute corporate actions (dividend, spin-off, shares split).
• Manage internal and external inquiries with timely, high-quality responses.
• Accountable for Global Servicing from the operating location (including shifts and holidays).
• Promote quality of deliverables by coaching and developing team members.
• Ensure cross-training and rotation of duties to increase efficiency and reduce risk.

Reporting to the Manager, Static Data team, you will be responsible for the timely and accurate update and maintenance of all static data in MDC and GP. Setups would include creation and/or amendment of static data in all the processing systems.

You will be supporting Global business with 8 working hours a day.

Shift hours would be between 8:00am-5:00pm

What will you do?

• Control and validate market data coming from data providers (Bloomberg, Reuters, etc.)
• Analyze and execute the corporate action event (dividend, spin off, shares split, etc.)
• Ensure internal and external enquiries are managed on time and with high quality standard
• Accountable for Global Servicing from operating location (includes shifts and work on bank / legal holidays and weekend when required)
• Promote quality of deliverables by motivating, coaching and developing team members
• Ensure cross training and rotation of duties occurs on a regular basis to increase operational efficiency and reduce operational risk
• Periodic review of process to refresh understanding of requirements and review for compliance
