Job summary

HSBC Holdings plc in the Philippines is seeking an experienced Clearing and Settlements Processor to support settlement operations. You will run system reports, monitor failed trades, and ensure accurate entries for derivatives and cash movements.

The role requires banking industry knowledge, strong MS Office skills, and solid analytical and communication abilities. Local candidates with immediate work authorization are preferred.

Responsibilities

• Run (AVALOQ) system reports and receive depositary reports via custodians’ system etc. concerning Settlement.
• Coordinate with brokers / counterparties to monitor failed trades status.
• Create/validate all system entries for derivatives trades and cash movements.
• Investigation of securities and cash reconciliation differences.
• Create all necessary system input relating to securities transfers and monitor the status with counterparties and custodians.
• Liaise with Front Office concerning securities transfers.
• Liaise with Dealing team concerning trade settlement affecting Bank Investment Portfolios.
• Ensure where required replies received in good time from Front Office / Dealing team.

In this role, you will:
