Job summary

Villa Maria Eastern Heights in Queensland is seeking a casual cleaner to join our not‑for‑profit aged care team. You will deliver high standards of cleanliness in resident rooms and common areas, supporting peers and adhering to safety policies.

Ideal candidates show genuine care for the elderly, strong communication, and reliability. Police Check and NDIS clearance applications are welcomed as part of the process.

Qualifications

• Kind heart and genuine passion for providing high quality care to the elderly
• Strong communication skills and a positive attitude
• Previous experience working as a cleaner ideally
• Warm and empathetic interpersonal skills with experience interacting with a wide range of people
• Ability to establish and maintain professional and appropriate relationships with residents and their families
• Reliable team player
• Ability to read, write and communicate effectively
• Willingness to apply for a Police Check and NDIS clearance

Job description

• Location -Villa Maria Eastern Heights
• Casual positions available - must have good availability, at least 3-4 days
• Pay rate –$33.20 per hour + superannuation
• Not-for-profit employer, so pay less tax!

As a member of the Cleaning team at Villa Maria Eastern Heights you will be providing high quality cleaning services for our residents within our residential aged care home, ensuring residents rooms and common areas are clean and presentable.
