Job summary

You will analyze reports, interpret policy wordings, and collaborate with independent adjusters to determine liability and losses while communicating findings to corporate clients and brokers. The role requires a bachelor’s degree and 1–2 years of relevant experience, with familiarity in local non-life insurance

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, Finance, Commerce, Engineering, Customs Administration, or related field.
• 1–2 years of experience handling basic property or casualty claims.
• Ability to interpret complex commercial policy wordings (All Risks, Fire and Allied Perils, Marine Cargo, Commercial General Liability).
• Familiarity with Philippine non-life insurance landscape, tariffs, and reinsurance structures.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate liability by analyzing incident and police reports, fire certificates, weather data, and shipping documents.
• Quantum Evaluation: assess actual financial loss by reviewing estimates, invoices, and financial books.
• Collaborate with independent Adjustment Companies licensed by the Insurance Commission for complex losses.
• Review Preliminary, Interim, and Final Adjustment Reports to validate recommendations.
• Establish and monitor financial reserves for reported claims.
• Identify salvage and subrogation opportunities.
• Serve as primary contact for corporate clients, brokers, and agents to explain policy exclusions or decisions.
• Handle disputed claims to ensure fair treatment under Market Conduct guidelines.
