Job summary

WSP in Manila is seeking a Civil Engineer to lead utilities engineering design requirements for the project. You will coordinate across services and disciplines and work closely with the Project Team Lead or Project Manager.

You will develop and coordinate the Combined Services Route for road and rail, transfer service information from providers and Dial Before You Dig drawings, and design pits and minimum bend radii for conduits.

Qualifications

• BS in Civil Engineering degree
• 2–3 years of relevant work experience
• Experience with utilities geometric design using listed software
• Proficiency in AutoCAD, MS Word and MS Excel
• Knowledge of Australian Standards and local road/utility standards
• Collaborative and consultative mindset
• Detail-oriented with documentation clarity

Responsibilities

• Design utilities engineering requirements for the project
• Coordinate across services and disciplines with project leadership
• Develop and coordinate the Combined Services Route for road and rail
• Transfer services information from providers and DBYD drawings
• Design draw pits and minimum conduit bend radius
• Produce quality design documentation under senior engineers
• Manage assigned projects including planning, analysis and drawings
• Adhere to design standards and quality procedures
• Support group objectives and company policy
• Apply knowledge of Digital Engineering, Net Zero, and BIM delivery
• Support Transport Digital Engineering Pillars as needed
• Demonstrate strong time management and prioritization
• Handle multiple projects and meet deadlines
• Assist project leads in managing projects
