Job summary

WSP Manila is seeking a Civil Drafter to support project teams on drawing production. You will develop general arrangement drawings from engineer sketches, ensure accuracy, and align with QA and CDM guidelines.

The ideal candidate has a technical degree with 3–7 years civil drafting experience and proficiency in AutoCAD, MicroStation, ProjectWise, and Civil 3D; Australian project experience is a plus.

Qualifications

• Graduate of any technical course or at least three (3) years in BS Engineering or BS Architecture course.
• 3-7 years of relevant civil drafting experience.
• Experience with several sized projects as CAD support within a CAD team; knowledge of AutoCAD, MicroStation, ProjectWise; Civil 3D is an advantage; Australian projects preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist project set up by agreeing drawing strategy, type and size of drawings and drawing numbering with project lead.
• Agree priorities and deadlines for drawing production with Project Lead.
• Develop general arrangement drawings from engineer’s sketches and other design team member drawings and details.
• Responsible for the clarity, completeness and accuracy of drawings and presentation materials produced.
• Adheres to prescribed drafting standard and procedures.
• Follow QA, document control, archiving & CDM guidelines on all work.
• Conscientiously works towards the group’s objectives and adheres to the company’s policy.
• Work with project team members on specified aspects of the project.
• Perform tasks assigned by the Principal Civil Technician / Drafting Discipline Lead / Discipline Lead / Transport Manila Operations Manager/ Regional Team Executive in line with his experience, discipline or qualifications.
