Job summary

WSP Philippines in Metro Manila seeks a Licensed Civil Engineer with 8+ years to lead complete civil design for highway projects, coordinating across disciplines and guiding project teams.

You will mentor junior engineers, ensure design quality, adhere to standards, and deliver drawings on schedule, leveraging Civil 3D, 12D, Open Roads or MX, AutoCAD, Word and Excel.

Qualifications

• Licensed Civil Engineer.
• At least eight (8) years relevant work experience.
• Experience with highway geometric design using Civil 3D, 12D, Open Roads or MX.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD, MS Word and MS Excel.
• Knowledge of Australian Standards and local road/civil design standards.
• Understanding of safety in design with emphasis on road safety outcomes.
• Strong leadership, proactive and decisive.
• Excellent collaboration and communication across cultures.

Responsibilities

• Responsible for the complete civil engineering design requirement of the project.
• Coordinate efforts between disciplines with Transport Civil Team Lead or Project Manager.
• Accountable for planning, analysis, design and production of the engineering drawings.
• May function as a Project Manager / Task Leader on specific projects.
• Provide mentoring and guidance to other Civil Engineers in the team.
• Carry out cross discipline reviews, constructability checks and clash detection reviews.
• Adheres to prescribed Design Standards and Design Quality Procedures.
• Evaluate staff performance in line with HR procedures.
