Job summary

EMC Construction and Development Corporation seeks an Assistant Site Engineer to support daily construction activities and project progress. You will help with inspections, measurements, and site reporting under the Site Engineer.

The role involves coordinating with workers, subcontractors, suppliers, and other site personnel to ensure work aligns with plans and specifications, while assisting the engineering team with administrative tasks to keep projects on schedule.

Responsibilities

• Assist Site Engineers in monitoring daily construction activities and project progress
• Assist in site inspections and measurements
• Help monitor manpower, materials, and equipment used on-site
• Assist in checking work progress against plans, drawings, and schedules
• Prepare and organize site reports, documentation, and other project records
• Assist in quantity take-offs and basic material estimates
• Help coordinate with workers, subcontractors, suppliers, and other site personnel
• Take documentation daily site accomplishments
• Assist in ensuring that construction activities follow approved plans and specifications
• Support the engineering team in other technical and administrative tasks
• Perform other related duties assigned by the Site Engineer or Project Engineer
