Job summary

Pathland Development Corp. is seeking a Senior Civil Engineer to lead a multidisciplinary team and deliver complex projects in Metro Manila. You will supervise engineers, technicians, designers, and contractors to ensure timely, cost-effective completion.

The role emphasizes strong project management, site supervision, budget control, and collaboration with architects and managers, plus mentoring of junior staff and staying current with industry trends.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or a related field.
• At least 5 years of experience as a Civil Engineer with a track record of leading complex projects.
• Thorough knowledge of civil engineering principles, practices, and regulations, plus experience in project management and supervision.
• Strong problem-solving and communication skills; able to collaborate with cross-functional teams.

Responsibilities

• Supervising and coordinating the work of a team of civil engineers, technicians, design and construction workers to ensure the timely and cost-effective completion of projects
• Reviewing and approving engineering designs, drawings, and specifications to ensure they meet all relevant codes, standards, and regulations
• Conducting site inspections and monitoring construction activities to identify and resolve any issues or challenges that arise
• Collaborating with project managers, architects to develop and implement project plans and schedules
• Preparing detailed reports, budgets, and documentation to track project progress and performance
• Providing technical guidance and support to junior team members, and mentoring them to develop their skills and expertise
• Staying up-to-date with the latest industry trends, technologies, and best practices in civil engineering
• Familiar with MERALCO Project Application, DSHUD Application, and LOCAL Government various application

• Strong problem-solving, critical thinking, and decision-making skills, with the ability to think creatively and innovatively
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams
• Proficient in the use of engineering software, such as AutoCAD, Revit, and project management tools
• Registered as a Professional Engineer (P.E.) in the Philippines is preferred
