GAMA Foods Corporation in the Philippines is seeking a Civil Engineer - Purchasing to lead procurement of construction materials, engineering equipment, and related services.

You will review specs, source qualified suppliers, prepare estimates, and ensure purchases meet quality, budget, and project requirements. The role supports a Monday–Friday schedule in Baloy, Tablon, Cagayan de Oro.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering required.
• Licensed Civil Engineer preferred.
• Fresh graduates welcome to apply.
• Experience in procurement, construction, project management, or quantity surveying is an advantage.
• Knowledgeable in construction materials, technical specifications, cost estimation, supplier evaluation, and contract documentation.

Responsibilities

• Source, evaluate, and procure construction materials, engineering equipment, and project related services in accordance with company procurement policies.
• Review engineering plans, technical specifications, and bill of quantities to ensure accurate material requirements and purchasing decisions.
• Prepare cost estimates, request for quotations, supplier evaluations, and purchase recommendations for engineering projects.
• Coordinate with Engineering, Project Management, Warehouse, and suppliers to ensure timely delivery of materials and project requirements.
• Monitor supplier performance, maintain procurement records, and recommend cost saving opportunities while ensuring quality, compliance, and project efficiency.

Job Summary

The Civil Engineer, Purchasing is responsible for providing technical expertise in the procurement of construction materials, engineering equipment, and project related services. The role evaluates technical specifications, sources qualified suppliers, prepares cost estimates, and ensures that all engineering purchases meet company quality standards, project requirements, and budget objectives.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering
