We are looking for a Licensed Civil Engineer to oversee construction quality, conduct site inspections, and ensure projects are executed in accordance with approved plans, specifications, and industry standards. The successful candidate will be responsible for monitoring project progress, identifying construction issues, recommending corrective actions, and ensuring compliance with quality and safety requirements.
This role requires frequent site visits; therefore, applicants must possess a valid driver's license and be confident driving to various project locations.
Monday to Saturday
Field-based with regular travel to project sites as required.
Conduct regular site inspections to monitor construction progress and ensure compliance with approved plans, specifications, and quality standards.
Perform quality control inspections and identify construction defects, non-conformances, and potential project risks.
Recommend appropriate construction methods, engineering solutions, and corrective actions to improve project quality and efficiency.
Evaluate workmanship and materials used on-site to ensure compliance with engineering standards and project requirements.
Coordinate with contractors, project managers, consultants, and other stakeholders to resolve technical and construction-related concerns.
Prepare detailed inspection reports, findings, and recommendations for management.
Monitor project schedules and provide updates on site progress.
Ensure compliance with building codes, engineering regulations, and occupational health and safety requirements.
Assist in resolving technical issues encountered during construction.
Perform other engineering-related duties as assigned.
Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering.
Must be a Licensed Civil Engineer (PRC).
At least 2-5 years of relevant experience in construction, site engineering, project inspection, or quality control.
Strong knowledge of construction methodologies, engineering standards, and quality assurance processes.
Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings, plans, and technical specifications.
Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
Strong communication and coordination skills.
Must possess a valid Professional Driver's License and be willing to drive to project sites.
Willing to travel and conduct field inspections as required.
Proficient in Microsoft Office applications; familiarity with AutoCAD is an advantage.
