JACOBS PROJECTS (PHILIPPINES), INC. in Manila is seeking a Senior Civil Engineer to lead planning, design, and delivery of complex transportation and infrastructure projects.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering; PE registration preferred.
• 15+ years of progressive civil/transportation infrastructure experience with leadership.
• Strong knowledge of civil design principles, Austroads & Australian Standards.
• Proven ability to manage multidisciplinary teams and deliver large projects.
• Strong stakeholder management and budgeting skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead planning, design, and delivery of high‑profile civil and infrastructure projects.
• Act as Design Manager or Package Lead with technical leadership across disciplines.
• Manage scope, schedules, budgets, resources, and risk.
• Provide QA/QC and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
• Mentor engineers, coach staff, and support talent development.

Your impact

• Lead the planning, design, and delivery of complex civil, transportation, and infrastructure projects in accordance with relevant industry standards and client requirements.
• Serve as Design Manager, Project Discipline Lead, or Package Lead, providing technical leadership across multidisciplinary engineering projects.
• Manage project scope, schedules, budgets, resource allocation, and risk management to ensure successful project outcomes.
• Provide technical oversight, quality assurance, and approval of engineering deliverables, ensuring compliance with project and regulatory requirements.
• Mentor, coach, and develop engineers and designers while supporting team capability growth, succession planning, and talent development initiatives.
• Support business growth through client engagement, proposal development, tender preparation, strategic pursuits, and recruitment of key engineering talent.

Here's what you'll need

• Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering; Professional Engineer registration or equivalent chartership preferred.
• Minimum of 15 years of progressive experience in civil engineering, transportation, road, or infrastructure projects, including leadership responsibilities.
• Proven experience managing multidisciplinary engineering teams and delivering large-scale infrastructure projects from concept through completion.
• Strong knowledge of civil engineering design principles, Australian Standards, Austroads Guidelines, and applicable regulatory frameworks.
• Demonstrated expertise in project management, design management, budgeting, scheduling, quality control, and stakeholder management.
• Excellent leadership, communication, mentoring, and business development skills, with the ability to build client relationships and drive project success.
