Job summary

Jacobs is seeking a passionate Structural Engineer in the Philippines to perform structural analysis and design for steel and concrete projects. You will develop design concepts, translate requirements into drawings and models, and ensure code compliance with AISC/ASCE/ACI/IBC and seismic provisions.

You will collaborate with the Structural Lead and other disciplines, using STAAD, Navisworks, Bluebeam, RAM Connection, Revit, and AutoCAD to deliver coordinated solutions while upholding schedule,

Your impact

We are looking for a passionate and driven Structural Engineer to become a key member of our growing design team. In this role, you will take on meaningful responsibilities, performing a substantial portion of structural analysis and design across a variety of projects.

You’ll collaborate closely with your Structural Lead, fellow Structural Engineers and Designers, as well as experts from other disciplines. Together, you’ll help shape design concepts, complete engineering calculations, and translate structural requirements into coordinated drawings and models.

Your Responsibilities

• Perform structural analysis and design for steel and concrete structures.
• Develop design concepts and communicate requirements through drawings and models.
• Apply American codes (AISC, ASCE, ACI, IBC) and seismic provisions.
• Utilize engineering tools such as STAAD, Navisworks, Bluebeam, RAM Connection and designer tools like Revit and AutoCAD.
• Take ownership of assigned scope, ensuring compliance with schedule, budget, and quality standards.

Here’s What You’ll Need

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering with a specialization in Structural Engineering. You must be a Licensed Structural Engineer in the Philippines.
• Demonstrated experience delivering structural engineering solutions for large-scale infrastructure projects.
• Proven experience in steel and concrete design.
• Working knowledge of American codes such as AISC, ASCE, ACI, and IBC, is desirable.
• Proficiency in engineering tools STAAD, Navisworks, Bluebeam, and RAM Connection; familiarity with designer tools like Revit and AutoCAD is a plus.
