Job summary

China Energy Engineering Group Shanxi Electric Power Engineering Co., Ltd. (Singapore Branch) seeks a Civil / Design Engineer to support and lead civil engineering aspects of renewable energy and energy storage projects in the region.

You will collaborate with C&S consultants, review designs, and ensure compliance with local codes while delivering safe, constructible engineering solutions. The role requires 1–3 years for junior or 5–8 years for senior level, with proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit

Qualifications

• Diploma / Degree in Civil Engineering or related field.
• 1–3 years for Junior level or 5–8 years for Senior level.
• Basic knowledge of construction processes and local regulations (LGU) for Junior level or strong knowledge of Philippines regulations and approval processes for Senior level.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD or similar design tools.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office and civil engineering software (e.g., AutoCAD, Revit, Civil 3D).
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Good communication and teamwork abilities.
• Fluent in English; Mandarin is preferred to liaise with regional stakeholders.
• Willingness to travel overseas (including China and regional project sites).

Responsibilities

• Liaise with Civil & Structural (C&S) consultants to develop structural schemes and perform engineering analyses.
• Design and review civil engineering works including site development, drainage systems, earthworks, and infrastructure
• Oversee and/or support project execution, ensuring alignment with design specifications and timelines
• Ensure compliance with local regulations and standards
• Coordinate with clients, consultants, contractors, and authorities to ensure smooth project delivery
• Attend project meetings and site visits, providing technical input and resolving engineering issues
• Prepare, review, and maintain technical documentation such as drawings, reports, and specifications
• Promote and ensure adherence to safety standards across all project phases
