Job summary

Benchmark Health is hiring a senior operating leader to run the business day to day, build scalable infrastructure, and serve as a strategic thought partner to the CEO. The COO will oversee Product, Clinical Operations, Data, finance, and HR, with a five-area focus including strategy, operations, product/tech, finances, and team leadership.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of operations experience, including a senior operating role at an early-stage startup.
• Deep experience in behavioral health, managed care, or value-based care models.
• Track record of scaling a company through growth stages (seed to Series A/B).
• Experience as a senior leader with autonomy and outcome ownership.

Responsibilities

• Strategy: Work with the CEO, board, and advisors to design an AI-native operating system for behavioral health to support payors.
• Operations: Ensure delivery and measurement of high-quality care across channels; scale care management and partner implementation.
• Product and Tech Leadership: Design and optimize an AI-native scalable clinical model with the tech team.
• Financial Stewardship: Maintain financial discipline and support fundraising efforts.
• Team Leadership and Growth: Attract, develop, and retain a mission-driven, high-caliber team with robust performance metrics.
