Our client is a high-growth, venture-backed SaaS platform leveraging advanced technology to scale operations across emerging markets is seeking a strategic, cross-border Chief Financial Officer (CFO). This role is permanently based on-site in Manila, Philippines, and is fully open to global expatriates ready to relocate.

Responsibilities

• Lead the strategic preparation and execution of the company’s international IPO, partnering directly with founders, board members, and global institutional investors to architect the financial roadmap toward a successful public listing.


• Drive institutional fundraising, M&A, and capital markets initiatives, optimizing a complex capital structure that includes high-volume equity rounds and large-scale, cross-border debt facilities.


• Act as the core commercial and strategic partner to the CEO and investors, driving transactions, corporate development, and business execution beyond traditional reporting and controls.


• Maintain complete ownership of day-to-day numbers and operational finance, ensuring that while the business scales strategically, the foundational finance function is built with public-market rigor.


• Establish corporate governance, risk management, and internal controls frameworks, transitioning regional financial operations to IFRS standards and building robust public-market audit compliance from scratch.

Requirements

• Strong background in Investment Banking or Private Equity, providing a deep foundation in corporate finance, deal structuring, valuation, and institutional investor relations.


• Proven track record as a CFO or senior finance leader who has successfully transitioned into the technology/SaaS or high-growth ecosystem, with a verifiable history of navigating a business through to a public listing (IPO) or major liquidity event.


• Deep expertise in capital markets, M&A execution, and regional corporate restructurings within Southeast Asia or international tech hubs.


• A unique blend of high-level commercial gravitas and operational stamina, with the willingness to dive deep into day-to-day operations while simultaneously managing board-level stakeholders, global underwriters, and cross-border teams.


• Excellent communication and negotiation skills, with a track record of driving institutional investor roadshows and engineering complex cross-border financial structures.
