Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Accountancy is required.
• Certified Public Accountant (CPA) license is required.
• Proven experience as a CFO or similar role in the microfinance/financial services industry.
• Strong understanding of financial analysis, regulations, risk management and compliance.
• Proven leadership experience with a track record of managing and developing teams.
• Advanced proficiency in financial modeling and planning tools.
• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to collaborate effectively with diverse teams and stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Lead financial reporting and participate in Management Committee and strategic discussions.
• Analyze financial results, budgets, variances, revenues and costs and recommend improvements.
• Provide financial insights and support long-term business planning and organizational decision-making.
• Oversee financial risks, treasury functions, funding, and relationships with banks.
• Develop, review, and implement financial policies, procedures and internal controls.
• Ensure compliance with tax laws, revenue regulations and other financial requirements.
• Manage cash flows, investments, liquidity, funding sources and relationships with financial institutions.
• Identify, assess, monitor and mitigate financial risks through risk management plans.
• Maintain accounting systems, strengthen internal controls and evaluate technology to improve processes.
• Lead Finance department talent management, performance, budgeting, communication and compliance culture.

1. Corporate Governance & Reporting – Lead financial reporting and participate in Management Committee and strategic discussions.

2. Financial Analysis & Performance – Analyze financial results, budgets, variances, revenues, and costs, and recommend improvements.

4. Enterprise & Risk Management – Oversee financial risks, treasury functions, funding, and overall financial sustainability.

Key Requirements:

A holder of a Bachelor’s Degree in Accountancy
