Job summary

Aboitiz Construction, Inc. in Metro Manila seeks a Senior Estimator to lead the estimating team, recruit and mentor staff, and drive high‑quality bid proposals across commercial, industrial, civil and residential projects.

You will supervise takeoffs, review drawings, develop project cost structures, manage subcontractor sourcing, and ensure estimates meet client requirements, timelines, and company profit goals.

Qualifications

• Licensed Civil Engineer preferred.
• 10+ years of construction estimating experience, with 3–5 years in a senior/lead estimator role.
• Experience with the company’s project types (commercial, industrial, civil, residential, mechanical, or electrical).
• Advanced understanding of construction methods, materials, and pricing trends.
• Strong leadership, communication, and team-building abilities.
• Proficiency in estimating software Bluebeam, Pronamics, RibCandy and PlanSwift.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
• Ability to work under pressure and meet strict deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Work with clients, architects, engineers, and consultants to clarify scope and pricing.
• Participate in contract negotiations and value-engineering discussions.
• Review bid results and lead post-bid analysis to improve future performance.
• Monitor cost trends and maintain competitive pricing databases.
• Evaluate labor, equipment, and material cost data to refine estimating accuracy.
• Ensure compliance with company policies, safety standards, and legal requirements.
