Job summary

Accorhotel in the Philippines seeks a Chief Engineer to ensure the efficient operation of the hotel property and all its equipment. You will oversee maintenance, safety, and repair services, and protect the owner's assets while coordinating with the Design and Construction team and external contractors.

The role involves supervising both interior and exterior building maintenance, training staff on safety compliance, and performing other duties as assigned by Management.

Qualifications

• Experience in hotel facilities maintenance and operations.
• Knowledge of local safety regulations and compliance.
• Ability to supervise and develop maintenance teams.
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.

Job Description

Responsible in ensuring the efficient operation of the hotel property and all its equipment, ancillary maintenance and repair services and protection of the Owner's asset. Structural aspects of the hotel as well as the maintenance of grounds and external facilities fall within the span of responsibility of the Chief Engineer.

Work with Design and Construction team, engineers, and/or outside architects regarding renovations and other such projects; contact contractors for bids and meet with appropriate construction supervisors.

Educate/train team members on current safety issues to ensure compliance with all local laws and safety regulations.

Supervise the Maintenance and of repair the interior and exterior of buildings, hotel rooms and contents

Perform other reasonable duties assigned by the Management.
