Job summary

Private Advertiser is seeking a senior leader to head AML, regulatory compliance and data protection. The role combines MLRO and DPO responsibilities to build scalable, risk-based programs across onboarding, monitoring, and reporting.

The candidate will engage with senior management and regulators, embedding a strong compliance culture while supporting rapid digital growth in financial services.

Qualifications

• 12–18 years of relevant experience in AML, regulatory compliance, data privacy or related functions.
• Proven experience as MLRO, Deputy MLRO, or senior AML leader with STR/CTR reporting and BSP/AMLC engagement.
• Strong data privacy governance experience including PIAs, data subject rights, retention measures, and privacy by design.
• Deep knowledge of Philippine AML/CFT requirements, AMLA, AMLC regulations, BSP issuances.
• In-depth understanding of RA 10173 (Data Privacy Act) and NPC regulations.
• Experience with digital onboarding, eKYC, transaction monitoring, and sanctions screening.

Responsibilities

• Serve as MLRO with accountability for AML/CFT framework and regulatory engagement.
• Develop and enhance AML/CFT programs, including customer risk-rating and onboarding controls.
• Oversee transaction monitoring, alert management, investigations, and reporting (STRs/CTRs).
• Lead BSP examinations and AMLC engagements, including submissions and remediation.
• Deliver AML training and regular compliance risk reporting to senior management and Board committees.
• Act as DPO overseeing data privacy program, DPIAs, data retention, and incident response.
