Chief General Accountant

We are seeking a Chief General Accountant to lead our accounting operations, ensure accurate financial reporting, and maintain compliance with regulatory requirements. This role is pivotal in managing the accounting function, supporting strategic decision‑making, and ensuring efficient financial processes.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee daily accounting operations, including general ledger, accounts payable/receivable, and month‑end/year‑end closings.
• Prepare, review, and analyze financial statements in accordance with Philippine Financial Reporting Standards (PFRS).
• Ensure timely filing of government reports and compliance with BIR, SEC, and other regulatory bodies.
• Manage and mentor the accounting team, fostering professional growth and high performance.
• Monitor financial performance, identify risks, and recommend improvements.
• Maintain accurate records of accounts payable transactions and ensure timely payments to vendors.
• Process payments, including checks, electronic transfers, and other methods, ensuring accuracy and adherence to payment terms.
• Ensure all invoice processing and payments comply with company policies, internal controls, and regulatory requirements.
• Continuously identify opportunities to streamline and improve invoice processing and accounts payable workflows.
• Provide support and address financial queries related to procurement and payment processes.
• Ensure all documentation is complete, organized, and compliant with internal and external requirements.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accountancy; CPA license is an advantage.
• Minimum of 45 years of relevant experience in accounting or finance, preferably in a managerial role.
• Strong knowledge of accounting principles, standards, and reporting requirements.
• Proficient in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks) and Microsoft Office applications.
• Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
• Detail‑oriented, proactive, and capable of managing multiple priorities.

Working Schedule

Monday to Saturday, 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.
