Private Advertiser is seeking a Chemist to join our manufacturing laboratory team in the Philippines. The role focuses on analytical testing, quality control, and process-related activities to ensure reliable laboratory results.

Ideal candidates hold a Bachelor's Degree in Chemistry with a Licensed Chemist (RCh) credential, and have relevant lab or QC experience. The position requires compliance with safety norms and meticulous documentation in a plant environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Chemistry is required.
• Licensed Chemist (RCh) is required.
• Experience in a laboratory, manufacturing, or quality control environment is an advantage.
• Knowledge of chemical analysis, laboratory procedures, and quality control practices.
• Familiarity with laboratory instruments, chemical reagents, and safety protocols.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Good documentation and communication skills.
• Willing to work in a manufacturing/plant environment.

Responsibilities

• Conduct chemical analyses and laboratory tests according to established procedures.
• Receive, identify, prepare, and analyze samples with traceability.
• Prepare and handle chemical reagents and laboratory materials.
• Evaluate analytical results and ensure accurate reporting of findings.
• Operate, check, and maintain laboratory equipment and instruments.
• Maintain complete and accurate laboratory records and documentation.
• Ensure proper handling and disposal of laboratory and chemical waste.
• Follow laboratory safety, housekeeping, and environmental procedures.
• Report abnormal results, equipment concerns, and other laboratory issues promptly.
