Inspection and Verification: Conduct physical inspections of incoming and outgoing goods (e.g., raw materials, finished products) against corresponding documentation such as purchase orders, packing lists, invoices, or delivery receipts.
Accuracy Assurance: Verify quantities, product descriptions, item codes, and quality conditions, reporting any discrepancies, damages, or missing items to a supervisor or inventory control staff for resolution.
Documentation and Record-Keeping: Meticulously document inspection results, update inventory logs, and maintain accurate records of all movements using computer systems, handheld scanners, or enterprise resource planning (ERP) software like SAP or Zoho.
Coordination: Collaborate with warehouse associates, drivers, and other departments (e.g., purchasing, production, sales) to facilitate smooth loading and unloading, manage delivery schedules, and resolve issues promptly.
Organization and Safety: Organize the work area, ensure proper labeling of products, and adhere to all safety guidelines and procedures to maintain a secure and efficient working environment.
