Job summary

Hammerjack Pty Ltd in the Philippines is seeking a Chief Financial Officer to lead and shape the finance function from the ground up, with direct exposure to founders. You will build scalable processes, budgeting, reporting, treasury, tax and compliance, and partner with senior leadership on strategic planning and growth initiatives.

The role demands a hands-on, detail-oriented leader with strong stakeholder management.

Qualifications

• 15+ years progressive experience in finance and accounting.
• End-to-end finance including controllership, tax, treasury and statutory compliance.
• Proven track record of building or scaling finance functions from scratch.
• Highly detail-oriented with a hands-on leadership style.
• Strong stakeholder management and business partnering capabilities.

Responsibilities

• Lead the end-to-end finance function, including accounting, FP&A, treasury, tax, compliance, and financial reporting.
• Build scalable finance processes, controls, and governance frameworks to support business growth.
• Establish robust budgeting, forecasting, cash flow management, and performance reporting processes.
• Partner with founders and senior leadership on strategic planning and commercial decision-making.
• Oversee audit, regulatory compliance, banking relationships, and risk management activities.
• Drive finance transformation initiatives, systems improvements, and process automation.
• Build and develop a high-performing finance team while fostering a culture of accountability and excellence.

The Successful Applicant

A successful CFO should be/have:

• CPA

• Highly detail-oriented with a hands-on leadership style
• Strong stakeholder management and business partnering capabilities
