Job summary

ADV MARKETING AND MANAGEMENT SOLUTIONS INC. in Makati seeks a senior Finance & Controlling professional to lead budgeting, forecasting, and reporting processes, ensuring accurate month-end close and profitability analysis across products, branches, and customers.

The role requires CA/CPA/CMA or equivalent, plus at least 5 years post-qualification experience in finance and accounting, with strong commercial acumen and global visibility.

Qualifications

• Bachelor in BA and Chartered Accountant / CPA or CMA, or equivalent.
• 5 years post qualification experience in Finance & Accounts.
• Solid background and experience in controlling positions, cost analysis, business profitability.
• Solid finance, controlling & accounting professional with a good commercial / business acumen and global vision.

Responsibilities

• Track monthly results vs budget/forecast, explaining deviations and proposing corrective measures when appropriate to country management and CFO.
• Prepare the ppt report for the Management Committee and BOD meetings.
• Support the Finance department in the timely and quality month-end closing and reporting including proper cost and revenue allocations.
• Review profitability by product, branch and customer; analyze deviations real vs budget; liaise with Business and propose corrective measures.
• Coordinate budgeting and forecasting hand in hand with business areas for all products, expansion plans, and performance indicators.
• Provide information and advice to General Management, Business and Local and Regional CFO for decision making.
• Commercial and pricing support; calculate standard costs and follow up deviations.
• Track and propose cost reduction projects.
• Provide support to General Manager and involve in business topics as required.
• Introduce financial modelling for analysis of expansion plans, new business openings, investments and KPI metrics with Group guidelines.
• Optimize processes to be streamlined and efficient.
• Ad hoc reports for Country manager, business areas and Group.
• Lead controlling department team to a high-performance level.
• Assist in designing & implementing policies/processes for accounting & financial controls.

Managing the finance, accounts, treasury, reporting, controlling, and procurement functions.

• Track monthly results vs budget/forecast, explaining deviations and proposing corrective measures when appropriate to both country management and CFO.

• Review of business lines profitability, per product, branch and customer. Analysis of deviations real vs budget, liaise with Business and propose corrective measures when adequate.

• General follow up of company business and financial evolution and provide relevant information an advice to General Management, Business and Local and Regional CFO for decision making
• Commercial and pricing support. Calculation of standard costs and follow up of deviations.
