Job Summary:
The Accounting Manager is responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the accounting department, ensuring accurate financial reporting, compliance with accounting standards, and effective financial management of the company. The role requires a Certified Public Accountant (CPA) who can manage financial records, supervise accounting staff, and support management with financial insights and analysis.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage and oversee the daily operations of the accounting department.
- Prepare and review financial statements, reports, and budgets.
- Ensure accuracy and compliance with accounting standards, tax regulations, and company policies.
- Monitor cash flow, accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger.
- Coordinate and assist with internal and external audits.
- Develop and implement accounting systems, policies, and procedures.
- Supervise, train, and evaluate accounting staff.
- Ensure timely filing of taxes and government compliance requirements.
- Provide financial analysis and recommendations to management for decision‑making.
- Maintain confidentiality of financial information.
Qualifications:
- Certified Public Accountant (CPA) license is required.
- Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
- At least 3–5 years of experience in accounting or finance, preferably in a supervisory or managerial role.
- Strong knowledge of accounting principles, financial reporting, and tax regulations.
- Proficient in accounting software and Microsoft Excel.
- Strong analytical, leadership, and organizational skills.
- Excellent communication and problem‑solving abilities.
