Job summary

Hocheng Philippines Corporation (HCG) is seeking a Warehouse Supervisor - Ceramics to oversee daily warehouse operations, manage inventory control, and ensure safe handling of ceramic products. The role coordinates inbound/outbound shipments, maintains accuracy, and enforces quality and 5S standards.

The ideal candidate will lead a team, optimize processes, and collaborate with QA, Sales, and Logistics to ensure timely order fulfillment in Dasmariñas, Cavite or nearby areas.

Qualifications

• College graduate; BS in Industrial Engineering, SCM, Logistics, or Operations Management is an advantage.
• 2-5 years of experience in warehouse supervision, manufacturing, or logistics.
• Experience in large-scale inventory management: cycle counts, stock monitoring, auditing, reconciliation.
• Experience handling delicate and heavy ceramic products.
• Knowledge of WMS, ERP systems (e.g., SAP), and MS Office for inventory tracking and reporting.
• Strong ability to supervise, train, motivate, and delegate tasks to warehouse personnel.
• Knowledge of shipping, receiving, packaging, loading, and shipping documentation.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, and coordination skills.
• Willing to work in Dasmariñas, Cavite or nearby areas only.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and coordinate daily warehouse operations, including receiving, storage, picking, packing, loading, and dispatch of ceramic products.
• Manage and monitor inventory levels, stock movement, cycle counts, inventory audits, and reconciliation to ensure accuracy and availability.
• Ensure proper handling, storage, stacking, and packaging of delicate and heavy ceramic products to prevent damages.
• Monitor warehouse layout and space utilization to ensure efficient, organized, and safe storage.
• Coordinate incoming shipments and outgoing orders, including preparation of products, loading activities, and required shipping documents.
• Monitor product condition and coordinate with QA to identify and document damaged or defective products before shipment.
• Utilize WMS, ERP systems, SAP, and MS Excel for inventory monitoring, data entry, reporting, and warehouse performance tracking.
• Supervise, train, schedule, and motivate warehouse personnel; delegate tasks and monitor performance.
• Conduct regular warehouse inspections and enforce 5S, PPE, housekeeping, and workplace safety standards.
• Analyze inventory discrepancies, operational issues, and warehouse bottlenecks and implement corrective actions.
• Monitor warehouse KPIs and productivity; recommend improvements for efficiency and cost-effectiveness.
• Coordinate with Sales, Logistics, QA, Production, and Delivery teams to ensure timely order fulfillment.
• Prepare and submit inventory, operational, and performance reports to management.
• Perform other warehouse-related duties as assigned.
