Job summary

Wawa is seeking a Manager, Private Brands – Center Store, to own the strategy, performance, and growth of the Center Store Private Brand portfolio from concept through lifecycle management.

You will lead assortment, pricing, packaging, branding, and go-to-market execution, coordinating with Finance, Marketing, Product Development, and Procurement to deliver sales, margins, and customer value.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Merchandising, Finance or related field.
• 5+ years in category management, merchandising, or related commercial roles.
• Experience leading cross-functional teams and delivering financial results.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute Center Store Private Brand strategy and multi-year plans.
• Own portfolio performance including sales, margin, and ROI; take corrective actions.
• Lead assortment, pricing, packaging, branding, and lifecycle decisions from concept to launch.
• Identify category opportunities using insights, analytics, and market trends.
• Lead brand launches with cross-functional teams and governance processes.
• Partner with Finance to build budgets, forecasts, KPIs, and reporting.
• Develop pricing, promotions, and cost-management strategies.
• Align packaging and communications with Marketing and other partners.
• Ensure customer insights and data guide portfolio decisions.
• Negotiate and manage supplier relationships for quality and cost efficiency.
