Job summary

Key Responsibilities

• Installation: Mount security cameras, run low-voltage cables (like CAT5/CAT6), and set up conduit pipes or support hangers.

• Configuration: Program Digital Video Recorders (DVRs), Network Video Recorders (NVRs), and IP addresses for remote viewing and recording.

• Maintenance: Perform routine checks, preventative upkeep, and firmware updates on hardware and software.

• Troubleshooting: Diagnose signal loss, blurry images, power failures, or networking glitches and replace faulty parts.

• Integration: Connect surveillance systems with access control gates, alarms, or other security networks.

Requirements and Qualifications

• Technical Skills: Strong knowledge of IP camera systems, networking fundamentals, wiring methods, and reading technical schematics.
