Job summary

Pentagon Automation Corp is seeking a skilled CCTV Technician for our security division in Metro Manila. This full-time role covers installation, maintenance and repair of CCTV systems, with travel to multiple client sites as needed.

You will work on configuring, testing and troubleshooting cameras, DVR/NVR, and related network equipment, while ensuring safety and high reliability for client facilities. A valid driver’s license and strong customer communication are essential.

Qualifications

• 2–3 years experience as CCTV technician or similar security systems role
• Proficient in CCTV camera systems, DVR/NVR technology
• Strong networking fundamentals and IP addressing knowledge
• Ability to read technical drawings, blueprints, and schematics
• Solid understanding of electrical wiring and safety standards
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
• Physically capable to climb, lift heavy equipment and work on-site
• Valid driver's license and willingness to travel across Metro Manila
• Excellent communication and customer-focused mindset
• Certifications in security systems, networking or electronics are desirable

About the role

Pentagon Automation Corp is seeking a skilled CCTV Technician to join our security division. This is a full‑time position based in Metro Manila. As a CCTV Technician, you will be responsible for the installation, maintenance, troubleshooting and repair of closed‑circuit television systems and security infrastructure. This role is critical to ensuring the safety and security of our clients' facilities and plays a vital part in our commitment to delivering reliable security solutions across the region.

Key responsibilities

• Install, configure and test CCTV camera systems, including wiring, mounting and integration with recording and monitoring equipment

• Perform routine maintenance and inspections of CCTV systems to ensure optimal performance and reliability

• Diagnose and troubleshoot technical issues with security camera systems, network equipment and associated hardware

• Repair or replace faulty components, including cameras, cables, recorders, servers and monitoring devices

• Conduct system upgrades and modifications to meet client specifications and technological advancements

• Document all work performed, including installation details, maintenance records and technical specifications

• Provide technical support and guidance to clients on system operation and basic troubleshooting

• Coordinate with other technicians and departments to ensure seamless project completion and service delivery

• Comply with health and safety regulations and security protocols while working on‑site at client locations

What we're looking for

• Proven experience working as a CCTV technician or in a similar security systems role for at least 2–3 years

• Strong knowledge of CCTV camera systems, digital video recording (DVR) and network video recorder (NVR) technology

• Proficiency in network fundamentals, IP addressing and basic networking protocols

• Competency in reading technical drawings, blueprints and system schematics

• Solid understanding of electrical wiring, cabling standards and safety practices

• Troubleshooting and problem‑solving skills with the ability to diagnose complex technical issues efficiently

• Physical capability to climb, lift heavy equipment and work in various environments

• Valid driver's licence and willingness to travel to multiple client sites throughout Metro Manila

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with a customer‑focused mindset

• Relevant certifications in security systems, networking or electronics are highly desirable
