Job summary

Universal Robina Corporation is seeking a Category Strategy Manager to set the strategic direction for a set of brands across channels. The role collaborates with marketing and Channel Strategy to align plans with equity and channel dynamics, and represents Sales in category discussions during forecasting.

The ideal candidate will lead category sales strategies, launch and manage products, ensure SKU distribution, conduct shopper insights research, and perform cost analysis for category programs.

Qualifications

• At least 5 years of experience in a management role in Sales and Marketing.
• Bachelor’s degree in Business Management, Marketing, Engineering, or equivalent.
• Experience in Key Accounts or Gen Trade with proven results.
• Excellent leadership and interpersonal skills.
• Strong quality and process-based orientation.

Universal Robina Corporation is looking for a Category Strategy Manager.

The Category Strategy Manager will be responsible for setting the overall strategic direction of a set of brands for the targeted channels. This includes, but is not limited to, developing and monitoring of the Category Plans anchored on shopper insights to ensure business growth achievements. Collaboratively engages with marketing and Channel Strategy to ensure that plans are aligned to equity and channel dynamics. The Category Sales Manager represents the Sales Team in category discussions within the Forecasting meeting.

• Engages in research, studies to constantly improve shopper understanding within the category;

What are the Qualifications?

• At least 5 years experience in a management function in both Sales and Marketing;
• College graduate in Business Management, Marketing, Engineering or equivalent;
• Trained and has made the rounds of having grown career in both Sales and Marketing; accomplished and has proven results in the following functions such as Key Accounts or Gen Trade;
• Excellent leadership and interpersonal skills;
• Strong quality and process based orientation.
