Job summary

Kareila Management Corporation (S&R Membership Shopping) is seeking a detail-oriented Inventory and Purchasing Coordinator to maintain optimal stock levels and oversee local and imported merchandise. You will work closely with the Senior Merchandise Manager and vendors to ensure timely deliveries and accurate replenishment processes.

Responsibilities include issuing POs, tracking orders, managing payments, and monitoring expiry dates across multiple categories.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in any relevant field.
• At least 1 year of experience in Retail, preferably in inventory, replenishment, merchandising, purchasing, or supply chain, with experience handling food/fresh or multiple merchandise categories.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Highly organized, detail-oriented, and analytical.
• Able to work effectively with cross-functional teams and vendors.
• Can work well under pressure and meet deadlines.
• Trustworthy, responsible, and proactive.
• Willing to report onsite in either Makati or Libis, Quezon City, depending on business requirements.
• Available to start ASAP.

Responsibilities

• Manages imports and local inventories and items as per directed weeks supply by Senior Merchandise Manager.
• Issues and/or directs the issuing Purchase Orders to Foreign and Local Vendors.
• Prepares and monitors payments to Foreign Vendors.
• Tracks import orders to ensure on-time delivery.
• Communicates with Senior Merchandise Manager regarding problems with vendors and SKUs.
• Maintains professional relationship with all vendors.
• Ensures that all claims and support from vendors are collected on a timely basis.
• Manages allocation of imports for a balanced inventory.
• Processes replenishment and balances inventory in a timely manner.
• Monitors merchandise expiry dates.
• Communicates promotional activities with Operations Team.
• Prepare and manage price and cost changes in the system.
• Prepare New item SKU Form and other related forms.
