Job summary

Gardenia Bakeries Phils., Inc. seeks a procurement professional to ensure timely sourcing of materials and services for daily operations.

This TEMPORARY 5-month contract role requires evaluating suppliers, obtaining quotations, negotiating terms, and processing POs with cross-department coordination. The ideal candidate has a related degree, strong communication and vendor-management skills, and is willing to be based in Biñan, Laguna.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a related technical field.
• Fresh graduates are welcome; internship or work experience in Procurement is an advantage.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office with ability to analyze purchase requests, evaluate supplier quotations, and prepare contracts.
• Strong communication, sourcing, negotiation, coordination, and vendor management skills.
• Willing to be assigned in Biñan, Laguna.

Responsibilities

• Source and evaluate qualified suppliers for materials and services.
• Obtain quotations, prepare analyses, and recommend suppliers.
• Negotiate pricing, terms, and delivery schedules with suppliers.
• Prepare and process Purchase Orders (POs) accurately and on time.
• Coordinate procurement with Production, Engineering, Logistics, and other departments.
• Monitor supplier deliveries to ensure timely availability of materials and services.
• Maintain supplier relationships and act as primary point of coordination.
• Keep purchasing records and procurement documentation.
• Prepare weekly and monthly purchasing reports.
• Perform other procurement-related duties as assigned.
