Job summary

Private Advertiser is seeking a reliable Cashier to handle cash, card, and other payment methods accurately in a fast-paced environment. You will issue receipts, provide correct change, and maintain daily sales records while ensuring a clean, organized cashier area.

The role requires basic cash-handling knowledge, good communication, and familiarity with POS systems. Weekend or shift work may be required to cover busy periods and customer needs.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; college level is an advantage.
• With cashier or customer service experience preferred.
• Basic knowledge of cash handling and payment transactions.
• Good communication and customer service skills.
• Basic computer and POS system knowledge.
• Accurate, trustworthy, and detail-oriented.
• Willing to work on weekends, holidays, or shifting schedules if required.

Responsibilities

• Process cash, card, and other payment transactions accurately.
• Issue receipts and provide proper change to customers.
• Maintain accurate records of daily sales and transactions.
• Handle cash responsibly and ensure proper cash count.
• Assist customers with payment-related inquiries.
• Reconcile cash drawer at the end of each shift.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the cashier area.
• Report discrepancies and transaction issues to the supervisor.
• Perform other cashier-related tasks as assigned.
