Job summary

Mr. DIY Philippines is seeking a reliable cashier for our Santa Rosa store in Laguna. The role requires basic math, accurate cash handling, and delivering friendly customer service.

Responsibilities include operating registers, processing payments, giving receipts, balancing cash drawer, and keeping the checkout area neat and organized. A bachelor’s degree is required, and prior cashier or retail experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• Candidate must possess bachelor’s degree (on Business course or any 4 year course).
• Has sufficient background in cashiering, preferably with POS experience.
• Has the ability to provide quality customer service.
• Trustworthy, detail-oriented and can work with minimal supervision.
• Minimum of 1 year/s experience in a similar industry.
• Average communication and people skills.
• Computer literate.
• Willing to work in Magic Sta. Cruz.

Responsibilities

• Perform basic math functions to collect payments and make change.
• Operate registers, scanners, scales and credit card/debit card terminals.
• Balancing the cash register and generating reports for credit and debit sales.
• Accepting payments, ensuring all prices and quantities are accurate and proving a receipt to every customer.
• Handle exchanges and refunds in a quick, efficient manner.
• Maintain accurate cash drawer.
• Keep the checkout area clean and orderly.
