Ace Hardware Phils., Inc is seeking a reliable Cashier at the SM Clark Branch to deliver an exceptional customer experience at the point of sale. This full-time role requires accurate transactions and a welcoming, professional demeanor.

Responsibilities include operating the POS, handling cash, processing payments, assisting customers, stocking when needed and maintaining a clean checkout area. Flexibility to work evenings and weekends is preferred.

Qualifications

• Experience as cashier or in customer-facing retail is preferred but not required.
• Proficient with POS systems and cash handling procedures.
• Strong numeracy for handling cash transactions accurately.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for customer service.
• Ability to stay calm and professional in busy periods.
• Attention to detail to ensure transaction accuracy.
• Willingness to work various shifts, including evenings/weekends if needed.
• Honesty and integrity aligned with company values.
• Proficiency in English and/or Filipino for communication.

Responsibilities

• Operate cash register and process payments accurately with multiple methods.
• Scan merchandise and verify prices before payment.
• Provide friendly customer service and answer questions on products/policies.
• Bag purchases and assist customers as needed.
• Maintain a clean, organized checkout area and equipment.
• Reconciling cash drawers and reporting discrepancies.
• Process returns and exchanges per store procedures.
• Assist with stock replenishment and shelf organization when not at checkout.
• Adhere to company policies, safety standards, and procedures.
• Support team to ensure smooth store operations.
