About the role

We are seeking a talented and passionate Full Time Barista to join the team at Dubai Prince Cafe in Quezon City, Metro Manila. This is a full-time position that plays a vital role in delivering exceptional coffee experiences to our customers. As a barista, you will be the face of our café, responsible for crafting high-quality beverages and creating memorable interactions with every guest who walks through our doors. Your expertise, attention to detail, and friendly demeanour will be instrumental in maintaining our reputation as a premier destination for coffee enthusiasts.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare and serve a variety of hot and cold beverages, including espresso-based drinks, specialty coffees, and other café beverages, to the highest standards




• Operate and maintain espresso machines, grinders, and other coffee equipment, ensuring proper cleaning and calibration




• Take customer orders accurately and efficiently, providing recommendations based on customer preferences




• Maintain a clean and organised work station, including the espresso bar, milk steaming equipment, and service areas




• Maintain knowledge of coffee varieties, origins, brewing methods, and flavor profiles to educate customers




• Handle cash and card transactions with accuracy, operating the point-of-sale system




• Engage with customers in a friendly and professional manner, building rapport and encouraging repeat visits




• Adhere to health and safety standards and café policies at all times




• Support team members during busy periods and assist with general café duties as required




• Contribute to maintaining inventory levels and inform management when supplies need replenishing

• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment whilst maintaining quality standards




• Strong attention to detail and consistency in beverage preparation




• Reliability and punctuality, with the flexibility to work various shifts including mornings, afternoons, and weekends




• Basic mathematical skills for transactions and cash handling




• Ability to work as part of a team and contribute to a positive workplace culture




• Physical ability to stand for extended periods and lift items up to 10 kg




• Food safety certification or willingness to obtain one




• Excellent personal hygiene and grooming standards
