• A Cashier is responsible for processing transactions, handling customer inquiries, and ensuring a smooth checkout experience.
• They operate cash registers, process payments, and provide excellent customer service while maintaining a clean and organized work area.
• Greet customers warmly and assist them with purchases.
• Operate cash registers and process various payment methods (cash, credit/debit cards, mobile payments, etc.).
• Scan and bag items efficiently and carefully.
• Issue receipts, refunds, or exchanges as needed.
• Maintain a balanced cash drawer and report any discrepancies.
• Assist with stocking shelves and keeping the checkout area clean and organized.
• Handle customer inquiries, complaints, or returns professionally.
• Follow store policies and security procedures to prevent fraud or theft.
• Collaborate with team members and support store operations as required.
