Job summary

BDO Unibank, Inc. in the Philippines is seeking an Accounting Assistant to independently review Cash Hub transactions for internal control.

The role focuses on vouching, signatures, verification, and balancing of all Cash Hub activity. Responsibilities include preparing reports and timely submission of outward check clearings, and performing monthly surprise cash counts of the Cash-in-Vault and Petty Cash Fund as directed by the District Head.

Qualifications

• Must have BS Accountancy or related degrees (experience not required).
• Willing to be assigned in Legazpi, Albay.
• Good communication skills.
• Filipino citizen required.

Responsibilities

• Daily vouching, checking completeness of signatures, verification and balancing of all Cash hub transactions.
• Preparation of reports, filing of documents and timely submission of reports such as outward check clearing to host branch/encoding center.
• Performs monthly surprise cash count of the Cash-in-Vault (CV) and Petty Cash Fund (PCF) per District Head's instruction.
