Job summary

BDO Unibank is seeking an Accounting Assistant in San Fernando City, Ilocos Region. You will perform independent reviews of Cash Hub transactions for internal control and ensure accuracy of signatures and reporting.

Responsibilities include daily vouching, preparing reports, filing documents, and monthly cash counts of Cash-in-Vault and Petty Cash Fund per district instructions. Ideal candidates hold a BS Accountancy or related degree and have good communication skills.

Qualifications

• Graduate of BS Accountancy, Accounting Technology, Management Accounting, Financial Management and Accounting; experience not required
• Applicants must be willing to be assigned in San Fernando, La Union
• With good communication skills
• Must be a Filipino citizen

Responsibilities

• Daily vouching, checking completeness of signatures, verification and balancing of all Cash hub transactions
• Preparation of reports, filing of documents and timely submission of reports such as outward check clearing to host branch/encoding center
• Performs monthly surprise cash count of the Cash-in-Vault (CV) and Petty Cash Fund (PCF) per District Head's instruction
