The Accounting Assistant role involves performing an independent review of Cash Hub transactions for internal control and supporting daily processing in Marilao, Bulacan. The position requires a Bachelor’s degree (or 18 accounting units) and knowledge of branch banking accounting operations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree related to accounting and at least 18 units of accounting.
• Experience in branch banking accounting operations and GL reconciliation is an advantage, fresh graduates welcome.
• Strong problem solving, numerical, detail-oriented; proficient in computer and business applications.

Responsibilities

• Daily vouching, checking completeness of signatures, verification and balancing of all Cash hub transactions.
• Preparation of reports, filing of documents and timely submission of reports such as outward check clearing to host branch/encoding center.
• Performs monthly surprise cash count of the Cash-in-Vault (CIV) and Petty Cash Fund (PCF) per District Head's instruction.
