Job summary

SAP Philippines, Inc. invites a Finance Specialist – Cash Collections to join the Global Cash Collections team in Manila. You will manage collections and AR for a defined portfolio, engaging with VIP and strategic customers to improve cash flow and reduce DSO.

The role requires finance or accounting knowledge, strong English communication, and the ability to work in an international environment. SAP processes and tools, including FICA/FIAR, are used daily.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in finance / accounting.
• At least 1 year of experience in cash collections or related field.
• Experience in accounting, AR, and related topics in a large enterprise.
• Fluent in English (written and spoken).
• Experience using SAP internal systems (FICA & FIAR) is an advantage.
• Must be organized with a proactive, can-do attitude.

Responsibilities

• Support strategic customers and partner accounts for collections and AR issues.
• Liaise with customers to collect receivables and build relationships.
• Investigate and resolve customer disputes timely.
• Work with internal sales and external customers to expedite collections.
• Hold regular calls with customers to predict payment timelines.
• Escalate issues to management affecting collections.
• Update collection notes and prepare collection forecasts.
• Send Dunning and Final Demand letters as needed.
• Assist training of new team members and participate in projects.
• Engage 3rd-party collection agencies when necessary.
• Follow SAP processes and tools in ISP.
• Support ad-hoc queries and local/regional/global projects.
• Prepare and drive AR review calls with management, CFO, and sales.
