Job summary

FAO Philippines seeks a Cash-based Transfer Specialist to lead the design, implementation and monitoring of cash-based interventions to support food security and livelihoods in Isabela and surrounding areas.

The role involves collaborating with government agencies (DA, DILG, DSWD) and partners to ensure timely, transparent delivery of cash transfers, beneficiary targeting and post-distribution monitoring. Fluent English required; Filipino encouraged.

Qualifications

• Advanced university degree in Agriculture, Rural Development, or related Sustainable Development studies.
• At least 5 years of experience in cash-based transfers in agriculture/rural development.
• Full proficiency in English (level C).
• Philippine nationality.

Responsibilities

• Lead design, implementation, coordination and monitoring of cash-based transfer interventions.
• Support field data collection for cash-based needs assessments.
• Develop guidelines and cash transfer plans for all activities.
• Coordinate with government partners and LGUs to leverage resources.
• Report on progress and bottlenecks with recommendations.
