This full-time role serves as the essential link between clients and our logistics operations, ensuring accurate documentation and excellent service delivery. You will manage shipments from booking through delivery, coordinate with clients and overseas partners, and maintain detailed shipment records.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; a diploma in logistics or related field is advantageous.
• Proven experience in cargo forwarding or freight logistics with customer interaction.
• Strong knowledge of shipping procedures, customs regulations, and docs.

Responsibilities

• Process and manage cargo shipments from booking to final delivery with accurate docs.
• Liaise with clients for quotations, pickups, and delivery schedules.
• Maintain records of shipments, tracking, customs declarations, and billing docs.
• Communicate with overseas freight partners, customs, and transport providers.
• Resolve shipping queries and address client concerns promptly.
• Prepare and review bills of lading, invoices, and customs forms.
• Monitor shipment status and provide regular client updates.
• Assist with cargo consolidation and optimise freight solutions.
• Support sales and operations with admin tasks related to freight forwarding.

About the role

Flash Cargo Logistics Network Inc. is seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Cargo Representative to join our team in Pasay City, Metro Manila. This is a full-time position that plays a crucial role in our freight and cargo forwarding operations. As a Cargo Representative, you will be the vital link between our clients and our logistics operations, ensuring seamless communication, accurate documentation, and exceptional service delivery. This role is essential to maintaining our reputation for reliability and efficiency in the competitive freight forwarding industry.

What you'll be doing

• Processing and managing cargo shipments from initial booking through final delivery, ensuring all documentation is accurate and complete

• Liaising with clients to provide quotations, arrange pickups, and coordinate delivery schedules

• Maintaining detailed records of shipments, including tracking information, customs declarations, and billing documentation

• Communicating with overseas freight partners, customs authorities, and transport providers to facilitate smooth cargo movement

• Resolving shipping queries and addressing client concerns promptly and professionally

• Preparing and reviewing shipping documents including bills of lading, commercial invoices, and customs forms

• Monitoring shipment status and providing regular updates to clients

• Assisting with cargo consolidation and optimising freight solutions for cost-effectiveness

• Supporting the sales and operations teams with administrative tasks related to freight forwarding activities

What we're looking for

• High school diploma or equivalent; a diploma in logistics, supply chain management, or related field is advantageous

• Proven experience in cargo forwarding, freight logistics, or a similar customer-facing role within the logistics industry

• Strong knowledge of shipping procedures, customs regulations, and international freight documentation

• Excellent communication skills in both English and Filipino, with the ability to interact professionally with diverse clients and partners

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications and logistics management software; familiarity with shipping systems is beneficial

• Meticulous attention to detail and strong organisational skills to manage multiple shipments simultaneously

• Problem-solving ability and a proactive approach to addressing logistical challenges

• Customer service excellence with a commitment to meeting client expectations and deadlines

• Reliability and punctuality with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment

• Valid driver's licence is preferred for occasional site visits
