A logistics company in Pasay seeks a worker to perform cargo procedures, including inspection and manual loading. Applicants should have vocational education, be capable of lifting up to 50kgs, and possess mathematical skills. Experience in cargo logistics is preferred. The role involves maintaining cleanliness in the cargo area and assisting customers.

Qualifications

• Graduate of any vocational course or at least college level.
• Preferably with experience in cargo logistics or warehousing.
• Capable of lifting up to 50kgs.
• Computer literate; proficient in MS Excel and Word.
• Experience in domestic airfreight and logistics is a plus.
• Professional demeanor and polite attitude when dealing with customers.
• Demonstrated mathematical skills.

Responsibilities

• Perform general or high-value cargo procedures.
• Accurately complete details in the SACC form during cargo acceptance.
• Conduct physical inspection of cargo.
• Maintain orderliness and cleanliness in the cargo operations area.
• Carry out open-checking procedures and explain the cargo waiver content to clients when open checking is refused.
• Ensure accurate count, weight, and dimensions of cargo.
• Manually apply destination stickers/labels and other required cargo labels.
• Perform manual jack-wrapping of cargo and organize cargo properly on pallets/crates.
• Load and unload cargo carefully and safely, ensuring an orderly process.
• Check the truck seal before opening the vehicle when assigned as the warehouse Cargo Representative, and report any tampering or mismatches to the Immediate Superior.
• Release cargo to consignees in accordance with the cargo releasing procedure when assigned in the warehouse.
• Inspect and count cargo against documents such as SACC, LM, HAWB, MAWB, Airline TRM, etc., and report any shortages or damages to the Immediate Superior.
• Create incident reports for any irregularities observed, such as suspicious cargo, damaged cargo, and similar events.
• Assist and accommodate inquiries from walk-in clients.
• Maintain orderliness and cleanliness in the cargo operations area and ensure proper upkeep of equipment after operations.
• Provide regular updates in the Facebook GC/Viber group on the completion of tasks assigned by the Immediate Superior.
• Perform cargo crating as needed.
• Execute other related duties as required or assigned by the Immediate Superior.

• Accurately complete details in the SACC form during cargo acceptance.
• Secure copies of all necessary documents during pick-up or delivery, including SACC, HAWB, transmittal manifest, delivery receipt, pull-out form, etc.
• Conduct physical inspection of cargo to ensure intact packaging with no signs of tampering or pilferage prior to acceptance and/or scanning.
• Carry out open-checking procedures and explain the cargo waiver content to clients when open checking is refused.
• Ensure accurate count, weight, and dimensions of cargo.
