Qualifications

• Possess a valid professional driving license with a clean driving record.
• Minimum of 2 years experience in cargo or freight transportation.
• Strong knowledge of Metro Manila road networks and traffic conditions.

Responsibilities

• Operating and maintaining cargo vehicles in compliance with all traffic laws and company safety protocols.
• Loading, securing, and unloading cargo with care to prevent damage and ensure compliance with weight regulations.
• Planning efficient delivery routes to maximise productivity and minimise fuel consumption.
• Maintaining accurate records of deliveries, mileage, fuel consumption, and vehicle condition.
• Conducting pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to identify and report maintenance issues promptly.
• Communicating with dispatch and customers to provide updates on cargo status and delivery schedules.
• Adhering to company policies and industry regulations regarding cargo handling and transportation safety.
• Assisting with general warehouse duties as required to support smooth operations.
• Contributing to a culture of safety and professionalism within the team.

As a Cargo Driver, you will be responsible for the safe and timely transportation of goods across the Metro Manila area and beyond, ensuring our clients receive their shipments in pristine condition. This role is essential to maintaining our reputation for reliability and excellence in the logistics industry.

What you'll be doing

• Proficiency in vehicle operation and basic vehicle maintenance

• Excellent organisational and time-management skills with the ability to meet delivery schedules

• Strong communication and customer service skills

• Physical fitness and capability to handle heavy lifting and loading activities safely

• A commitment to safety, reliability, and professional conduct

• Familiarity with cargo securing techniques and handling fragile goods is advantageous

• Experience with logistics management systems or GPS navigation tools is preferred

• A proactive attitude towards identifying route optimisations and operational efficiencies
