Responsibilities
The Caretaker is responsible for maintaining the cleanliness, safety, and overall well-being of a designated property, environment, or individuals. This may include performing cleaning, minor repairs, maintenance, and ensuring the general comfort and safety of residents or animals.
Property Maintenance: Perform routine cleaning, upkeep, and minor repairs around the property, including lawn care, painting, and minor plumbing.
Safety and Security: Ensure the property is secure, conduct regular safety checks, and monitor for any potential hazards.
Support for Residents or Animals: Assist individuals (elderly, children, or patients) with daily activities, including dressing, grooming, or mobility assistance. If caring for animals, ensure their feeding, grooming, and health needs are met.
General Cleaning: Clean common areas, bedrooms, bathrooms, and other areas as needed, ensuring they are safe and tidy.
Cooking and Meal Preparation: In some roles, assist with or prepare meals and snacks, ensuring dietary requirements are met.
Companionship: Provide emotional support and companionship to residents or individuals, offering company and assisting with their social activities.
Laundry and Linen Services: Wash, dry, fold, and organize laundry, including bed linens, towels, and personal clothing.
